Program Overview

Full-time role in a position and team that’s critical to our future. Team placement determined during interview process.

Orientation and technical training alongside other new TEPs, as well as periodic training throughout your first year at Citi.

A program management team that provides career-coaching and support for events (social, networking, technical).

Possible Roles

Data Science

Provide the insights that help us make the best decisions for our customers and ensure we’re operating at the highest levels of efficiency. Build out our big data architecture, work with analytics tools, and develop new capabilities.

Platform Engineering

Drive our software architecture, our technology roadmap, and our relationships with enterprise partners. Empower our workforce by providing the tools and platforms that help us reach our goals, and work with cloud technologies.

Technical Product Management

Own the technical vision for products tied to a customer journey. Work with product owners to transform business requirements and customer experiences into tech-ready user stories. Collaborate with a team of engineers to bring the platform product roadmap to life.

Development

We've got it all, whether it's building features for Citi Mobile on iOS (Swift & X-Code) or Android (Android Studio), creating something new for Citibank Online (Angular), engineering a new microservice (Java, Spring), or working on the back-end systems that power one of the world's biggest financial instituations (Java, SQL, COBOL). We prefer our engineers to be well-rounded, so you'll likely have an opportunity to work on more than one of these.

The TEP Experience

As a TEP, you're a part of a network that includes dozens of new friends, mentors, and colleagues from Day 1. Your role will keep you challenged, and our program culture includes more components to help you grow your skills, expand your horizons and have fun.

Supportive

TEPs (TEPle, Teeps - there's kind of a debate) have each other's backs. When you join, they'll help you learn the ropes, and you'll help lift up the new hires that come after you.

Collaborative

Participate in our regular series of hackathons and tech talks, or come up with your own to host! We're all about sharing knowledge and learning together, and all ideas are welcome.

Social

Whether you need a workout buddy, a crew for a concert, a group for a board game night, or anything else - there's always a group up to something. You'll have an overwhelming number of new friends!

  • Qualifications

    - Bachelor's/Master's in:
    Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems

    - We will also consider equivalent technical skills in lieu of a degree

    - Experience with software development, excellent communication skills, and a great teammate

    The last step involves behavioral and technical interviews, either in person at our office or via video conference.

    After accepting the offer, you'll join Citi alongside a crew of other TEPs.
